WAR52: analysis --- and it's very, very short -- US wants more oil, but OPEC+ can't turn on the tap much harder. Wow. I think I've been saying that for ten years. LOL. Now Reuters -- a British tabloid -- says the same thing. Link here. Summary:
- OPEC+ worries faster supply hike may cause glut in 2022
- Yet OPEC+ already struggling to pump more oil
- Biden seeks oil stocks release as OPEC+ sticks to plan
- Faster output increase will reduce capacity buffer
OPEC helping out Brandon after US actions yesterday? LOL.
US oil ban on exports:
- OPEC has done quite well as a cartel.
- USBO (US Big Oil) would benefit greatly from a crude oil export ban, based on historical crude oil prices.
- big losers: Europe, Japan, Asia.
- would probably push world into a global recession.
- Brent would go ballistic. WTI would follow.
- too bad US ban on crude oil exports off the table after yesterday's debacle
- turns out Japan and China did not play along; not that it would have made a difference

Metaverse: a reader asked if I "follow" the metaverse. I do not understand the "metaverse" at all. And with Zuckerberg in charge, I have no desire. When I don't understand something, I either a) follow the money; or, b) google it. So, I went to wiki to learn more about the "metaverse." Wow, talk about "privacy" concerns. Wow. And you get to do that while wearing heavy, really aesthetic headsets. Look for these headsets to be the hit of the Christmas season.
