I Don't Even Know Where To Begin, Part Three -- November 24, 2021

Breaking: weekly jobless claims post stunning decline; break below 200,000. Lowest level since 1969. Brandon has bragging rights. Link here. Market reaction: Dow down 185 points in pre-market trading; other indices also plummeting. Frees Jay Powell to get a bit more hawkish. And he was just confirmed for nominated for another four years.

Jobless claims: think about this -- jobless claims lowest in fifty-two years. Lowest since 1969, the year I received my lottery number from the US Selective Service.

Arctic blast brings snow to Europe: link here. Can you imagine if Brandon abruptly banned LNG exports to Europe.

Reuters: best think you can do today if surfing the net and running out of things to read -- sign up for the Reuters newsletter. Speaking of sites to link: how is the "Donald Trump" site doing?

Speaking of which: what's on cable today? I'm not watching CNBC at all this week. Will get CNBC news off the internet if interested. And I'm not. Watching Batman and Robin, the 1950s black-and-white serial. Unfortunately, it's a re-run. LOL.

Adios, Angela. Wilkommen, Olaf.

Amazon, buenos dias: wow, I love Amazon. Just got notification that my Amazon order would arrive today; ordered on Monday. And, another Amazon order on the way. And I'm still in bed, having coffee, and watching Batman and Robin. Now to watch Malaya on TCM featuring Sydney Greenstreet. Malaya, his last motion picture. Begins with flotilla of US battleships in the Pacific in 1942. My dad would be part of that action in 1944 after service in the Atlantic for two years or so on the USS Wakefield. Back to the movie: also stars Jimmy Stewart and Spencer Tracy. Waiting to see if Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart show up. LOL. Time for another cup of coffee. I'll be moving to the "bat cave" later.

Best thing I did in the last ten days: "figured out" the EV story. Intimately related to the chip story. Both linked over at the "Investors" page.
