I see the price of oil continues to move up after-hours.

I'm sure this has nothing to do with the price of oil, but some day it may:
Under the watch of the "peace president," nuclear proliferation continues unabated. Russia announces that the Iranian nuclear reactor will be up and running by August. The announcement came during the Nuclear Proliferation Summit hosted by President Obama. I can't make this stuff up
But until then, more pleasant thoughts.

Oasis Getting Active

NDIC announces three new permits for Oasis.  Two of them are on same pad in Williams County:

18195, Somerset 5602 42-08H, SESW 8-156N-102W
Ever since Oasis bought a lot of Fidelity acreage, the company has become much more visible in the Williston Basin.



Cottonwood Continues to Disappoint

The Cottonwood field continues to disappoint. EOG reported another well in the Cottonwood oil field yesterday; this one with an IP of 138. Click on Cottonfield Field to see how this field has disappointed. The wells are good enough to keep operators employed up there, giving them time and hope for the "one" big hit.
