This is a very strange application as one 640 acre spacing is held by Marathon, and Marathon is planning on drilling a well in June on this acreage. Why would g-3 be making this
ReplyDeleteapplication?
According to NDIC's "well search" site, MRO and G-3 Operating (and probably other operators as well) share acreage in this area.
DeleteIn addition, many (most? all?) operators in the Bakken are also non-operator participants in wells drilled by others.
Don't lose sight of the bigger story: 7 wells on a 640-acre unit.
G-3 just recently sold. This makes this application even more interesting.
DeleteYup, looks like great news for the buyer.
