- personally I'm getting tired of folks "attacking" DAs -- good, bad, indifferent -- they are charged with upholding the law -- some appointed, some elected -- maybe one rogue DA, but several?

The Book Club
I am an avid book collector and less avid book reader (way too many distractions since I started blogging in 2007).
For various reasons -- which I discussed some time ago -- I started winnowing my library and vowing not to buy any more books.
But, wow, addiction is a hard "thing" to end -- that's why they call "it' an addiction, I suppose. Ever since I got back into reading seriously, I find myself ordering not less than one new book a week from Amazon, it seems.
Obviously it's not that bad ... but ... again, another book ordered today from Amazon.
The four books bought through Amazon in the last four weeks: 1989, Premonition, The Great Influenza, and, now, today, Hitch-22.
