Oasis reports a very nice well in the Alger oil field today. I haven't updated that field in years and it's a huge field, both in size and production. Maybe I will get around to updating it today.
It is amazing, scrolling through the numbers.
Back in 2013, we were impressed with wells that produced 100,000 bbls of crude oil in a year; many of those wells have not yet reached 300,000 bbls cumulative, but now we are underwhelmed when new wells produce less than 300,000 bbls cumulative in one or two years.
But the Bakken never ceases to surprise me. Case in point. This well has gone for 500,000 bbls crude oil cumulative; ten years old, this well shows no signs of slowing down.
