From twitter today. This is simply amazing. New pipeline capacity for the Permian -- to put this in perspective, I believe the Keystone XL killed by President Obama would have brought 800,000 bopd from Canada to the US:

It's a great piece of work. Very happy for EIA to do this. RBN charges for it, basically. You can sort of try to compile it yourself, but that's a pain. Just good to have a spreadsheet like they do. I'm sure it will be and is imperfect. But it's still better to have a list than not have one. And it can be improved by people commenting on it.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure all of the TX projects are Permian. Most look like they are. But there could be some along the coast for instance. Just a caution since Mason sorted by TX and you are jumping to calling it all Permian.
Also, it's not all added takeaway capacity since some pipes (e.g. Red and Grey Wolves) connect to each other in series, not parallel.
I would love to have major natgas pipes listed as well.
