The shares of my favorite company will hit a new high -- again -- today.
Simply idle chatter. I don't own any shares in AAPL, never have, never plan to buy any shares. This is just simply idle chatter while waiting for the day to get started.
Remember the back and forth between XOM and Apple for bragging rights as company with largest market cap? AAPL is now firmly in lead.
Total Rigs: 211
ReplyDeleteWow, that was unexpected. Smile.
DeleteAnd just two days ago a contributor to SeekingAlpha.com suggested things were slowing down in the Bakken.

Rory, thank you. I was just sitting here, wanting badly to post another story about AAPL but (some) folks get upset when I stray from the Bakken, so I held back.
DeleteBut two potential posts:
1) it is now being reported that one of every three high school students now own an iPhone. Think about that. With the exception of Ugg boots I can't think of anything that has that kind of acceptance in the teenage market. One out of three, and one needs to remember some schools may have significantly less, meaning in some schools literally every high school student has an iPhone.
2) I visited a Best Buy today to look at their offers regarding Apple computers. There are some compelling reasons to buy from Best Buy: a) 18-month interest free loan to buy a computer; b) $50 to $100 savings on MacAir and MacBook Pros.
