The Manchurian candidate: says he can work with Democrats. The "joy" across Texas is quite amazing. And quite palpable. Talarico: "not interested in turning the state blue. Interested in the economy." It almost seems "everyone" is relieved, enthusiastic, excited.
Exhibit A: what did the market think?
Post-election: I don't think the Republicans realize how badly they lost. The map suggests we may never again see a "Republican-led" Texas. Certainly not within my lifetime. If it was this bad in Texas, imagine how bad it was everywhere else for the GOP.
