I'm in a great mood. For the longest time, maybe two years, we've had a great printer that was connected to our household wi-fi system which "stretched" to our garage (the "bat cave").
It worked perfectly off all our wireless devices -- until it didn't. One day it simply quit responding to wireless commands. We solved the problem with a cable. Again, worked perfectly, but a hassle to some degree. But it worked.
This is not an uncommon phenomenon in upscale, high-turnover, high-volume apartment complexes which -- that fact alone -- suggest(s) the reason for the problem. I discussed this with an authority on the subject -- a chatbot -- but I was not interested in going through the steps that might have resolved the wireless issue.
Last night, all of a sudden some very old documents started coming out of the printer -- and none of our devices were connected to the printer with a cable! All of a sudden, the printer "woke up" and "reconnected" to the router. Amazing. Twenty-four hours later it is still working perfectly from our wireless devices.
