No fire! Breaking now -- on CNBC -- a scoop -- at the upcoming "fireside chat" with Secretary of Commerce the honorable Howard Lutnick, there will be no "fireplace."
The Secretary of Commerce the honorable Howard Lutnick said this morning on CNBC that it will simply be two men in suits on two chairs in a room chatting. It was the mainstream media that dubbed it "a fireside chat."
Good to get that cleared up. A real fire in a real fireplace in Washington, DC, in September, during a heat wave never did seem to be a good idea.
