Compare that with the horrendous loss of life in Texas due to a much smaller flood in a much more modern nation with everyone having a cell phone with instant messaging.
The catastrophic flash flood occurred on the Guadalupe River at Camp Mystic, an all-girls Christian summer camp in Kerr County, Texas, on July 4, 2025. Loss of life of 28 innocent souls including 25 young girls. Horrendous and needless.
