Apple: the Apple Mac Mini was introduced in 2005 with the PowerPC G4. It never seemed to fit. No one knew "why." All of a sudden it's become the unexpected star! Truly amazing. The story started to break, maybe one year ago and that was well before the M6 / M5 Ultra. Some say the Apple M7 is supposed to be the showstopper next year while M6 being the stopgap like M3:
