Tale of two tickers: SCCO and FCX today. SCCO up 8% today; FCX down 17%. I own the former and lots of it. CNBC panelists love FCX; never talk about SCCO. Never. Today, neither FCX nor SCCO were mentioned by panelists, at least during the segments I watched. And I watched a lot today. This was pure luck -- good luck for some; bad luck for others. Had nothing to do with one's ability to read financial charts or financial statements, something I've talked about before.
