Amazon Prime is simply incredible.
- I ordered five items at 10:48 a.m. this morning. Most items will arrive this afternoon.
- all items were non-perishable cleaning products which I buy on a regular basis, either locally or through Amazon.
- savings:
- Amazon always has the most competitive prices to begin with, and today all items were discounted at least 15%.
- shipping is always free and saved me $2.99 today.
- completely unexpected:
- multibuy discount: $3.32.
- subscription savings: $1.66
- estimate: had I bought this locally today, I would have been out in the rain (yes, it's raining) and the cost locally? $100.
Plus I get 5% cash-back on all purchases at Amazon using my Amazon credit card.
5% of $70 = $3.50.
Savings easily pays the monthly Amazon Prime fee. And with Amazon Prime, I also get Amazon Prime video and so much other stuff I can't keep track, and generally don't use anyway.
