Update -- Briar Creek -- Southwest Of Williston -- December 15, 2024

Locator: 48398BRIARCREEK.

Briar Creek is turning into quite an amazing little oil field. 

This is a very small field -- about 36 sections (?), located along the Montana state line, southwest of Williston; Trenton would be to the east. I assume this is very close to the early Bakken oil wells discovered in Montana prior to the play moving to North Dakota, but I could be wrong. I also assume this is a huge, huge sugar beet area -- extending in to Montana. But again, I could be wrong. It's been a long time.
