Wise Gals: The Spies Who Built the CIA and Changed the Future of Espionage, Nathalia Holt, published September 13, 2022.
I don't think it's hyperbole to suggest five young women "founded" the CIA.
The story of the development of the U-2 and the Russian MIG that was responsible for development of the U-2 is worth the price of the book.
I will post notes on this book later. All I have so far is a "placeholder."
