Riding our Schwinns down our childhood west L.A. street with orders from parents not to come in until dark! Seriously, this is the shit of 70's youth!!! I thought life would be magical forever!! We lived in Culver City around the corner from Hughes Aircraft, it took up two entire blocks. When you're an innocent kid, your comfort is music, and memories of small freedoms like slumber parties, getting into trouble with older neighborhood kids your parents told you were a bad influence, and smoking cigarettes at 11 yrs old. I f-ing loved this song then!! STILL LOVE IT.
