Science: after posting this story a few days ago, I subscribed to Science. Wow, what an incredible bargain. I'm already loving it. Digital access to current issues -- weekly issues -- and access to entire archive of past issues. All for $79. Amazing.
Science sends a notification when a new issue is published so I don't even have to look for it. And a simple click on the link and one is brought immediately to the new issue. It couldn't possibly be easier.
And then no top of that perhaps the best "science" magazine out there.
This week's issue: a special issue with a cover price of $15.
Monkeypox, Covid: finally, some non-political "science" news -- Science. That $79 subscription price has already paid for itself in one issue!
Gorilla: not from Science but from my twitter "energy" feed. LOL:
Bacterium: this one raises a lot of questions.
First question I would ask: is this a new life form or has it always been around and we're just now discovering it? Second question: same DNA / RNA as other bacteria or something completely different. Third question: will Thiomargarita magnifica be the name of the next cryptocurrency?
