I said this a couple of weeks ago; I even had a poll: name the one thing -- with regard to energy -- that will never again be built in the US. I may find that link later, if the spirit moves me.

And that, unfortunately is what we need. We have plenty of oil, way more than we need. What we need is more refining capacity. US refiners are already working at 93% of their operable capacity, more than double what IRS employees seem capable of doing.
