- Fossil fuel production in the United States is set to hit record levels in 2023 due to increased efficiency and higher prices
- The combined production of coal, natural gas, and oil rose in 2021 following a decline the year before
- While coal production did fall in 2021, it is expected to grow again in both 2022 and 2023
