I'm bored with the whole story and apparently no one else really cares either.
Stiff upper lip and all that stuff.
But for the archives. Someday we might find this interesting, although I doubt it. Any island that can survive the blitzkrieg can muddle through a self-inflicted energy crisis.
And, anyway, it will be warm again next summer.
