First thoughts when I saw this graphic, sent to me by a reader, thank you very much:
1. While the EU remains in lockdown (and some countries returning to lockdown after coming out, e.g., Italy), the US is moving forward, at light speed, to get back to normal.
2. If #1 is an accurate observation, and I think it is, it follows that this never would have happened had Trump no been president during the pandemic. With Dr Faust in control the US would be in the same lockdown boat as the EU.
3. The economic well-being gap between the US and the EU will widen. The gap between China and the EU will be even more alarming. Even Bill Maher is talking about China in those terms.
