A lot of activity going on in Rattlesnake Point. The data is updated here. File numbers preceded by three asterisks (***) represent a change in status that took place in the last month or so (7/18 - 8/18). We should start to see CLR reporting some of these wells; we get a clue to the completion strategies being used in this field based on #20551: 55 stages, 9.1 million lbs.

Don't think this has been reported publicly yet, but Continental just drilled some huge (I think a record for Continental) wells in Dunn County. The Mountain Gap 7-10H had total oil production in May 2018 of 84,473.81 barrels. The Mountain Gap 8-10H1 had total oil production in May 2018 of 70,098.66 barrels. I haven't checked, but I think these may be the highest oil production months for any oil well drilled in the Bakken by Continental.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I was just getting ready to sign off. I will come back to this later. Thank you.
DeleteNo problem. Just thought you'd be interested. Those numbers come straight from the check stubs. Also of interest, the gross revenue on the two wells totaled about $9.95 million. This was before taxes and royalties, but it still shows that these wells will pay out for Continental after only a few months. Pretty incredible economics!
ReplyDeleteTruly amazing. I can't wait to post the NDIC data when it's updated which should be any day now.
