And, yes, that link still works. Perhaps with the slump in oil prices, North Dakota oil output will fall back to 400,000 bopd but the above projection was not based on a slump in oil prices. Today, North Dakota's oil output is solidly above 1 million bopd.Obviously that question cannot be answered with any degree of certainty. But in January, 2010, analysts suggested North Dakota's oil output will increase to 400,000 bopd by mid-2011, and that level of production will be sustained for 10 - 15 years.
It's quite remarkable how things have turned out.
