Administration has said it may re-draft bill to reinstate the moratorium. And if that doesn't work, they can do it again, and again, and again.
Not quite as efficient as the Chavez style in Venezuela but certainly nice for the lawyers.
Update, July 9, 2010: yes, the administration will submit a new moratorium plan. Meanwhile, the economic impact on Louisiana is minimal. Once this well is capped, this will become a non-story, but the administration will have gained more than it lost by trying to prolong the leak as possible.
