This is what the map looks like.
At the height of the boom, upwards of 200 rigs were active in the state. Now? Barely gets to 30 on any given day.
These are all well sites / permits for wells yet to be drilled / completed. Most of these are Hess permits; a couple of older Murex permits. Northeast of Williston, just on the north side of US Highway 2.
