Three section line wells. All three wells will be four-section spacing / 2560-acre spacing. It just amazing to me how operators can squeeze in so many more wells when the area already seems so saturated with wells.
The two section line wells running north will be situated about 375 feet from the section line and 375 feet away from the nearest existing, producing well. Only 375 feet. When I first started the blog I thought spacing between Bakken wells would be 1000 feet, suggesting that fracking was effective for only 500 feet. That suggests the vast majority of wells in the best areas of the Bakken are leaving behind a lot of oil.
