Maybe I "spoke" too fast. Was annual revenue y/y reported above? If so, I missed it. Apparently SRE missed revenue estimate by a huge amount. Link here.

Sempra Energy reported fourth quarter EPS of $1.28, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $1.23. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.75B versus the consensus estimate of $4.25B. Ouch. Blame it on:

• California regulators; and, 
• warm winter weather in Texas.

Comments:

• Quarterly results were lifted by strong performance at Sempra Texas, whose utility Oncor continued to expand its electrical grid to meet rising power demand from industrial customers and data centers. Reuters. 

• Earnings at its Sempra Texas utilities segment rose 48.9% to $201 million in the reported quarter.
