This whole scandal clearly reeks of organized crime. How high did it go? What did Walz know and when did he know it? Upwards of $9 billion and folks are suggesting this was the work of 100,000 Somalis living in Minneapolis, each of them sending, on average, $90,000 back to their families in Somalia.
An average Somali family of five (two adults, three children) sent back upwards of one-half million dollars to their extended family in Somali?
LOL.
This was not a two-bit operation haphazardly run by some Somalis.
This was organized crime, and individuals in state government were either aiding and abetting or simply looking the other way.
Organized crime, plain and simple.
A $9-billion scam is not a dollar-and-cents operation.
