Dow closes up over 500 points. NASDAQ off slightly after huge run the past six months.
AMD, today:
- first investor day in three years
- investors were rotating out of tech stock today (and yesterday)
- AMD was down significantly during the day, during the investor day presentations
- however, after-hours, huge surge from its closing price
