Reminder: the fire that has interrupted supply of aluminum.

Interestingly, a side note: this speaks again to the all-important "supply chain." 

Much could be said. 

Although most analysts will be talking about how this all affects the manufacturer, Ford, few will connect the "political fallout," particularly in California and for Gavin Newsom. This is a huge story for California and its governor.

Ford's Numbers Are Out -- EV Sales Were Down 25%

Overall sales up 16%.

Electric vehicle sales experienced a 25% decrease to 6,723 units, including a 42% decline for the F-150 Lightning.
