It almost sounds as if this deal simply came up somewhat spontaneously and that there was nothing more to it, Link here. If China, the country/government, owned a piece of a computer company, would the western nations eagerly buy those Chinese chips? LOL. So, what happens if international buyers step away from a chip company "owned" by the American government? Will France want to buy chips from Intel? Will Germany?
