The LDC:

• location: near Monroe, LA, in Richland Parish' Holly Ridge (link here)

• 4 million square feet
• to wrap your head around that, 4 million square feet is 40 times -- repeat, 40 times -- the Walmart "store" in your neighborhood (or your town)
• will be powered by three new natural gas plants with 2.2 gigawatts of combined capacity
• Meta to partner with Entergy to provide this power
• the entire ISO-NE has a combined capacity of 35 GW
• enough energy to power one million homes
• will also provide power to the surrounding community
  

Now for the hyperbole:

• “Entergy raised its earnings growth outlook substantially (solely because of this 1 new customer) and the stock rose 15% on that day,” wrote Rodney Rebello, an analyst covering power stocks at Reaves Asset Management, in an email to Barron’s. “It’s a monumental deal for the sector.”
• Meta says the Louisiana data center will be significantly larger than Meta's other data center campuses.
