Cramer's first hour: a mix of facts, factoids, opinions from various sources -- often not cited -- while listening to Cramer's first hour on CNBC. 

Cramer on the floor of the NYSE -- first interview -- with RFK, Jr. Wow, Cramer is less than fifty steps from the floor of the NYSE -- same visual as sportcasters on sidelines of a football field.

JD Vance, Melania, Donald Trump: Carl says this type of pageantry never seen before at the NYSE. Eight people on the stage -- five women, three men. 

Cramer: we had an anti-business president; now we have a pro-business president. 

Trump Tower in Jeddah. Don't forget. Huge. 

Carl: even Carl is taken in by Trump -- and there it goes -- ringing the bell! Wow! I'm thrilled to see Melania looking so good, front and center. So happy, relaxed, comfortable.

Again, such a great speaker off the cuff. I can't imagine Joe Biden or Kamala Harris giving the same interview.  One wonders if the difficulty Biden / Harris have with such interviews is the cognitive dissonance Biden / Harris had while answering questions.

Trump, another shout out to the First Lady. Cramer asks where Elon Musk is. Wow, Cramer got a long interview. Quite amazing, when you think about it. Trump embracing crypto. Amazing how fast his mind is. Trump's, not Cramer's.

A shout out to Doug Burgum. Wow, a long, long interview. I've never seen anything like this. Carl: says it's an incredible ad hoc interview. I think the Cramer interview with Trump lasted fifteen minutes; if not, seemed that long.

Cramer walking back to set; got back to set in less than ten seconds, to include getting re-miked.

Big news story: Jeff Bezos -- The Washington Post -- will visit the Trump White House next week.

This is better than the Macy's Day Parade.

Now Bill Ackman ends up on the set with Carl, Cramer, and David Faber. Carl now having a spontaneous / ad hoc interview with Bill Ackman.

The name that flashed in front of me? JFK. Split screen. Interview with Bill Ackman and Trump "working the room." How old is Trump; he doesn't look older than mid-sixties. Hard to believe how "positive" Carl is. Certainly not like his tweets on Bluesky (or X before that). Wow, we're not even into January yet, and Biden / Harris have disappeared.

Dow just turned green.

Second president to ever ring the bell. Trump owns the building across the street from the NYSE.

David Faber: absolutely amazed at all the "huge" names showing up at the NYSE to watch / be with Trump on the day he rings the bell. Titans of American exceptionalism. Notably and noticeably absent:

• Joe Scarborough
• Rachel Maddow
• Whoopi Goldberg
• Joy Reid

Time Person of the Year:

• President-elect Donald Trump has been named Time magazine’s 2024 Person of the Year. 
• The choice: It comes after an “improbable resurrection” following his first term and a successful reelection campaign, during which he was convicted of a crime and survived two assassination attempts. He was Time’s Person of the Year in 2016 as well. 
• Why Trump: “Since he began running for President in 2015, perhaps no single individual has played a larger role in changing the course of politics and history than Trump,” said Time’s editor in chief Sam Jacobs. 
• Other winners:  Time named Elton John the Icon of the Year and Caitlin Clark Athlete of the Year. The magazine also ranked GloRilla’s single “TGIF” as 2024’s best song, while Nicole Kidman’s erotic thriller Babygirl was named the year’s best movie.
