The market! Wow, what a day. US major indices near new records. Oil and oil equities sink. Most surprising (most numbers rounded):

• NVDA: up 4%; up $5 / share.
• AAPL: up 2%; up $4 / share.
• PLTR: up 7%; up $2.50 / share.

Tech, the "Fast Money" panel, not surprising, "seems" confused. 

EVs/GM: analyst suggests the $10,000 BYD is / will be a real force, even with a 100% tariff ($20,000) with which American care companies will need to compete. Really? 

• Remember this from July 9, 2024? Stellantis now in deep doo-doo! Doing everything it can to conserve cash! Dealers frustrated, irate.
