Katie Ledecky In Williston, North Dakota
Book tour. Signing. At the old Williston library. The line stretched for quite some distance out the front door. That library: one of my favorite spots when growing up in Williston. When I first saw it, I was amazed. I never knew there was anything like a public library and all those books.
The other woman in the picture is my sister, Karla.
#3 among the Carl and Ruth Oksol siblings.
It's hard to believe, but our middle granddaughter will be starting her freshman year at the same university Katie Ledecky attends: Stanford University. School for Olivia starts in less than two weeks.
