EIA: "in most US regions, 2024 wholesale electricity prices will be similar to those in 2023."
Exceptions, 2024 / 2023, year / year:
- only two regions show any notable increase: NYISO and ISO-NE
- greatest increase: ISO-NE
- from $48 to $60
- a 25% increase y/y
- only three regions show a notable decrease: ERCOT, Southwest, and California
- greatest decrease: ERCOT
- from an incredible $80 to $47
- a 41% decrease
