Picaridin: great for mosquitos. Not so great for biting flies. Cowboys and cowgirls need to know.
With cool evenings, hot afternoons, and lots of standing water in north Texas, mosquitoes are a problem right now.
"Typical" spray bottle of DEET vs picaridin runs in the $6.00 range. Picaridin is one to two dollars more expensive than DEET.
I assume mosquito season is over in North Dakota.
