Mohamed says central governments will have to accept "higher inflation" as the "new normal." He doesn't posit a number, but it will be four percent. Trust me on that. Take it to the bank.

Stay-flation, as a three-legged economy tool, replaces "stagflation," a British economic term, no longer in play.

- inflation goal reset to 4% -- not transitory, but long-term, if not a long-lasting goal
- a robust economy
- worries about unemployment / employment goes to the back burner
Recession?
- Germany is in recession.
- US: some analysts say US will follow; others say US will avoid recession.
- me? I'm agnostic. Don't care.
