The chart posted earlier (see below) certainly raises a lot of questions.
The first three questions that came to mind for me:
- the chart runs through the end of 2022. We're well into April, 2023, what were the statistics in 2022?
- is there any other public health "macro" statistics of which anyone knows that had a jump of 50% in a similar time span?
- flipping the chart over, is there any public health "macro" statistics of which anyone knows that had a decline of 50% in a similar time span?
I can come up with many examples to answer the third question.
It's more difficult to come up with examples to the second question.
