Oscars: Jamie Lee Curtis “wins” her first Oscar. I can go to bed happy tonight.
Poolside: 400 units in this complex with an average of two occupants per unit, I suppose, which means 800 folks in the apartment complex. Poolside, absolutely calm with a bright sun and 64°F, though it feels like 80°. Again, I'm the only one out here. A pair of mallards were out here when I arrived. It's gonna be cold for the next two weeks.
Sports: I can watch the PGA Champions touurnament and the NASCAR race -- wi-fi is great -- about 100 laps left, and the PGA won't be over for another thirty minutes or so but the tournament is already over for all intents and purposes. Scottie Scheffler could win by seven strokes. Min Woo Lee, in contention and tied at the third hole, imploded at the fourth hole and never recovered.
