I must hear that excuse a half dozen times every day, that the reason we have an energy problem is because we failed to invest in infrastructure.
Absolutely not true.
It was not a lack of infrastructure. It was policy changes. Period.
"We" spend a lot of money on wind turbines: no shortage of investment in infrastructure there.
But we shut down nuclear plants in Europe.
This had nothing to do with too little investment.
