A Long Island Rail Road train derailed Saturday night in western Long Island, shutting down the popular New York-area commuting line.
No information on injuries was immediately available.
The train collided with a truck, resulting in multiple injuries, according to an "eyewitness."One wonders if the governor of New York needs to ban commuter trains, this new derailment coming just days after the Hoboken incident that left one dead and 100's more injured.
