Fracking helped America meet 83 percent of its energy needs in the first eight months this year, on course for the highest annual level since 1991, Energy Department data show. Let's see: 83% of our energy needs ... and yet it will take another 10 years to achieve energy independence....what's up with that? I wonder if you throw in "Canada" as a domestic source, would we be independent more soonly?
