Is it correct yhey have 30 days to start fracking & 30 more days to report status to NDIC.

Newbie feeling dumber every day.
There are no requirements to start fracking in any given time period. If the drilling is a bust, they won't frack the well, and it will be abandoned. This rarely, rarely happens in the Bakken; 99%+ wells are fracked.
DeleteThey will frack the well generally as soon as possible, but some companies don't frack in the winter; there has been a backlog in fracking -- not enough teams to frack.
However, once they complete the well, generally meaning it's been fracked, they have 30 days s after the last day of the month in which it was fracked to provide the report to the state. So, if it was fracked/completed on July 5, they don't have to report until August 30. The state is probably 15 to 45 days behind in getting reports scanned and placed on their website.
At the NDIC website, one can subscribe to "Basic Services" for $50/year which provides about as much information as one would want; for serious followers of the Bakken, it is the best deal on the internet. $50/year.

Bogner 13-20H was released from Confidential status on June 1, and gas is being flaring off. Why is it so difficult to find any current information?
