BEXP announces completion of four Bakken wells in its Ross and Rough Rider project areas. One of the wells is the Sukut well (in the Painted Woods oil field) which I saw being completed when I was in the Bakken recently. Sukut is a a well-known family name in Williston; the Sukuts had a general business store on Main Street, Williston, all the years I was growing up there. They were (and probably still are) outstanding supporters of the Williston High School sports teams. If this is "their" well, I am very, very happy for them. And if it's not their well, I am very, very happy for whomever the well belongs to.
One of the other wells is an Abe Owan well; I had a nice conversation with Abe's brother while back in the Bakken. A great Lebanese family. The Williston area has a rich Lebanese heritage; came up through the El Paso, Texas, area, a couple of generations ago.

"It is estimated that BEXP will fracture stimulate and bring on line to production approximately six wells per month beginning this month (September, 2010)."
"In the first quarter 2011 .... that number will go up to eight wells per month."
