EPA Update Regarding Fracking

See the EPA page for September 9, 2010, update on fracking and regulations at the federal level.

And now, we have reports of methane in a river and in wells in the Marcellus.  The story reminds me of polluted rivers catching on fire back in the 60's. We've come a long, long way.

  1. Have these people heard of GasFrac Energy services out of Canada? They frac with Nautral Gas and no water or chemicals used. They have several patents and have proven there efficacy. They just recently got listed on the exchanges.
Go to their website. It may be the biggest thing
    going down the road.

  2. Thank you very much.

I am convinced that our scientists and engineers will solve these problems, and this is an excellent example.

    Thank you.

What would really be neat is if they could frac with CO2 -- I do not subscribe to manmade global warming, but for those who do, wouldn't that be interesting -- fracking with CO2. They use CO2 for enhanced oil recovery but not fracking.

No water, no chemicals, and natural gas is the by-product of the stuff they're going after.
