Question Of The Day: Whatever Happened To All Those Earthquakes Caused By Fracking? March 15, 2026

l

Ides of March.

Celebrate with a Caesar Salad.

It's amazing how much fake news is generated to push an agenda.

When the shale revolution threatened Saudi Arabia, there was a lot of fake news with regard to she shale revolution. I remember the scientific paper coming out of some Saudi universitiy that said the US shale sector wouldn't produce all that much oil. If I can find it, I will re-post it but I doubt I can find it.

About that time a lot of stories on earthquakes and fracking started appearing.

Today, all of a sudden -- there are a lot of  "shortage of oil" articles (another fake story) and no concerns about fracking. Now, we’re not fracking enough.

It gets tedious.

I don't know if this is a fake story or not; Arizona solar energy costs.

Link here.  One can check out cost of electricity by state here.

Being reported today over at Fox News:

North Dakota has the lowest average residential rate in the country at 11.02 cents per kilowatt-hour, while Hawaii has the highest at 41.62 cents per kWh.

I'll come back to this later. Off to church.
