From The Williston Herald:
The other project, a
little further out on the horizon, is a $400 million gas gathering
system, also in the Fort Berthold area, that would be constructed by
RimRock.
The
North Dakota Industrial Commission granted the company permission to
temporarily exceed flaring limits for gas at RimRock’s new, Charging
Eagle well for a year, so that the company can estimate maximum
production, and thus determine the overall size of infrastructure needed
in that area.
The
company would flare an estimated .1 billion cubic feet of gas during
its temporary exemption, but it's project would ultimately capture an
estimated 47 billion cubic feet.
